Graduate in Civil engineering /desirable post graduate
(Engineering Management / Hydropower Engineering) |
Should have in-depth knowledge of hydropower Project implementation and have relevant experience of working as Project Manager in hydropower project, preferably for more than 100MW.
Thorough understanding & execution of EPC contract following FIDIC & world bank rule book and any other equivalent standards.
Desirable experience of:
- Handling all activities of the Field formation.
- Take all necessary actions for implementation of various Contract packages and control of Physical and Financial Progress & budget.
- Coordination with the Consultant.
- Monitoring of Contractors’ working of all type of contracts and the correct Contract implementation.
- Monitoring Progress as per Schedule and assuring Quality.
- Coordination amongst various engineers and holding regular meetings.
- Regular updating of Construction Schedule using the state of the art commercial software.
- Coordination with all the Contractors and holding regular meetings.
- Overseeing and regulating bills prepared and payment.
- Coordination amongst various contractors for interface activities and related timely achievements of Milestones.
- Submission of Compiled Quality Assurance reports, updated Construction Schedule and budget proposals.
- Processing & defending of disputes and claims management pertaining to various contracts.
- Assistance to statutory bodies and processing of related documents for project financing and budgeting.
- Keeping the Head office/ CEO fully updated of all issues of the project and related matters.
